B/R Live Website

The launch of B/R Live represents a new chapter in Bleacher Report's dominance of the sports media landscape. Fans know Bleacher as the place to go to engage with the culture they love, and they now have a place to watch live games too. If B/R Live doesn't stream the game, they’ll tell you where to catch it, whether that's on another website, app, radio station, or your local sports bar. Never miss the action.

Ryder Cup Scoring

A golf tournament as unique and exciting as the Ryder Cup needs an equally compelling scoring system. Ryder Cup Android App

As an alternate view of the PGA Championship app, designed during my time at Turner Sports Interactive, the Ryder Cup app displays during the biennial men's golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States. This app functions much in the same way as the Championship app by allowing fans to watch the Cup live. It also allows users to choose their favorite team, which automatically changes the look of the interface to match their preference. Users can read news, watch live, get scoring updates, tour the course and more.

Save the Birthdays Campaign

The American Cancer Society's annual year-end integrated digital donations campaign is essential to the fight against cancer. Making Strides Website + App

One of my largest projects at the American Cancer Society was to modernize the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer website and give it a bold new look that stands out in the over-saturated breast cancer space. This collaborative effort between the user experience architect and myself extended past the website to a mobile app, which allows registered users to fundraise, send emails, and change their profiles on the go.

– Production and UAT

Results:

Making Strides Infographic

In 2013, the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk commemorated 20 years of saving lives. To celebrate their birthday, and the strides they and their constituents have made together, I created this interactive infographic full of facts, milestones, and achievements. After the user has viewed the infographic, he or she can also choose to download or share an array of wallpapers and social media content created from the piece.

Adaptive Email Suite

Based on the changing needs of the American Cancer Society, and the growth in email viewership on mobile devices, I designed a suite of mobile-friendly email templates that visually align with the newly redesigned cancer.org website. The six basic templates (two long-format, a postcard, and three newsletters), can be customized in hundreds of different ways by turning images, modules, buttons, and other features on and off, and by choosing from a pre-selected color palette.

My Contributions:
– User experience collaboration
– Email template design (desktop and mobile)
– Production and UAT

American Cancer Society Infographics

In an effort to make vital cancer information easier to understand and share, I have been creating a series of infographics for the American Cancer Society to illustrate key facts, statistics, guidelines and more. Each has received very positive feedback from volunteers, press, and social media followers.

Below are just a few pieces. To see all of my infographics, visit me on visual.ly.

Money Matters Infographic

The Money Matters program was created in 2004 by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Charles Schwab Foundation. Its goal is to teach youths how to make sound financial decisions.

This infographic illustrates the program's tremendous success over the past 10 years and was created under the direction of strategy lead, Kelley Mitchell Price.

Give Hope Campaign

The American Cancer Society's annual year-end integrated digital donations campaign is essential to the fight against cancer. The 2012 campaign was called "Give _____" and spanned many touchpoints such as email, display advertising, digital billboard, website promotions and homepage lightbox, social media and video. Email, which I had the largest hand in, shattered its conversion, click-through and fundraising goals.
